The quiet and secluded walled garden at the rear of the villa is small but spectacular thanks to the profusion of bougainvilleas covering its walls and the many other specimen tropical plants in the flower beds. It features a little fountain in one corner, a built in barbecue and a shady floral pergola with a tiled dining table.

There is concealed lighting amongst the flower beds which makes this a very romantic place to be on those long balmy summer evenings. Few experiences are more enjoyable than sitting in the pergola eating your charred barbecued chicken legs and spare ribs, sipping your glass of chilled Vinho Verde and listening to the tinkling of the fountain and the chirping of the crickets.
